Wall painting

Eye-catching pictures and messages in local language and dialects (Odia, Kalahandia, Desia, Kui, Parajaa) on prevention of Coronavirus infection are proving to be a potent medium of communicating with local communities to adopt COVID Appropriate Behaviour (CAB) such as social distancing, handwashing and using double masks. Our community cadres are using innovative ideas to create murals which could attract public attention by leveraging locally available resources to spread awareness on the importance of vaccination and means to prevent the spread of the disease. Towards this process, our frontliners could reach 310 villages in 62 GPs, creating 1,341 wall paintings marking an innovative way to sensitize the community.
