Vaccination

Poor network connectivity, unavailability of mobile phones and SIM cards, misinformation, rumours and biases about vaccination and delay in vaccine availability have acted as major challenges in increasing vaccination rates in Southern and Western regions of Odisha. Armed with protective gear and a strong determination to convince local communities for vaccination, our COVID warriors travel the length and breadth of difficult terrains, registering people on COWIN web portal and booking vaccination slots, also supporting local administration in facilitating successful vaccination drives following COVID protocol. Despite multiple challenges, our teams have successfully registered 11076 individuals, booked slots for people and directly facilitated vaccination of 7651 individuals covering 660 villages, fighting vaccine hesitancy.
